I’m from Brazil and a big fan of Brad Mehldau. I recently heard the orchestra’s concert with Rita Payés, and it was wonderful. Now, having Mehldau perform with the orchestra is such a wonderful surprise and a real pleasure!

As an American who received a music school education and learned to appreciate that fusion is the fusion of jazz and classical; two Great American-European traditions, respectively, it makes me feel warm inside to have been a fan of mehldsu for decades having seen him live here from Pittsburgh to Boston to Seattle many times. Being able to deliver this concert presentation into my living room with world-class sound makes me glad that YouTube can be a great platform for music education if and only if the adult in the room makes the right choice as to what content enters their living room. I wish I could say I've been to Frankfurt but I have not, even though I've been to Germany. I hope to see more content like this from Frankfurt radio big band in the future.

The education we receive at home is indeed a function of the filter known as taste.

With a debt of gratitude for everyone who has been involved in the production and distribution of great art around the world..

I’ve been waiting for this to come out on YouTube. Incredible concert! Brad’s playing and DJA’s writing is so special. I love these shows featuring artists and arrangers/composers collaborating. It’s such a cool way to hear the artistry of both and with an amazing ensemble!

What a pleasure to hear this. Brad Mehldau is one of my favorite musicians and it's impossible not to feel the emotions he conveys.
