  I like to think Le Papa's villain origin story is that his dad went out for milk and never came back, and he ended up resentful. But in reality their Dad was kidnapped by God and sent to the past

  Dan and Emboar seem like that dad who didn't want a dog, refused to allow his family to get a dog, they got on anyway and he ends up being the closest to the dog.

  I love the implication that you're just on a trip to Paris and you just end up getting perennially sidetracked into saving the city, immediately abandoning all ideas of what you were originally there for or where you may have to return to

  Imagine being a kid hanging out with your pokemon, and all of a sudden a giant pig man comes crashing down out of nowhere, leaving only a charred crater where your Bunnelby used to be. And while processing this, a cyberpunk edgelord walks up and goes "I believe you owe me 50 bucks now."

  I like how the Paris-themed Pokémon game has you jump and assault random passerby and their pets in the dead of night, get robbed less than 10 minutes after arriving, and hunt wild animals that are living in overgrown sectioned-off areas of the city that people presumably also live and work in. Also the only thing more absurd than the existence of these Anarchy zones is the presence of a group who wants to abolish said anarchy zones and just let all the wild animals roam free all over the city. &nbsp;<br><br>10/10, truly accurate to the real Paris experience
