  For those that like silicone: Don't clean it with alcohol. That will cause it to get sticky much sooner.

  I used that exact treadmill before and it doesn't feel like any kind of walking. Normally when you walk you lift up your feet and shift your body weight around balancing your spine to be kind of upright. But to walk on that thing you have to drag your feet without lifting them up AND lean forward, a lot (1st time use will be really scary cuz you think you gonna fall). It's like you're wiping your feet on a very slippery carpet while leaning forward at an unhealthy amount. It take a very big getting used to (you're re-learning how to walk essentially). Once it does, it doesn't feel like any walking. Oh and it's a tripping hazard as well. Those special shoes combine with the treadmill surface is very very very slippery. If don't know how to step on and off you might fall.

  Great video. Our VR shoes don't have a lot of the problems you talked about VR treadmills having. Maybe we can send you a pair at some point.

  Oh god, I bought a VR treadmill when it first came out and barely used it. It didn't feel immersive, the hardware was jank and it takes so long to set up. Plus they take up loads of room and they're ugly. Luckily some rich dude agreed to buy it which I was very thankful for. I'll never buy something silly like this again.

  I was a backer for the virtuix omni kickstarter. It felt amazing to use, but it was constantly in the way any time I wanted to play regular VR that didn&apos;t use it. I have been badgering KatVR and Virtuix Omni for years to provide a fast fold/teardown for the support arms and some wheels on the side so it can be quickly folded and slid under a bed or up against the wall when not actively being used.<br>The version I used didn&apos;t even have crouch support, but it was amazing, but it&apos;s only as amazing as the games it is supported by, and that you are willing to spend time setting up every time you want to use it, which just as you&apos;ve said; it kills motivation SO MUCH, SO FAST. It&apos;s really wild how quickly you&apos;ll go from &quot;I want to do VR&quot; to &quot;meh, X minutes of set up? too much work&quot; that X value takes a complete nosedive after the first week or two.

  I definitely regret getting the VR treadmill. &nbsp;It was a pain to put together, multiple software glitches, u have to go through a whole ritual (make sure the shoes are charged, put on the shoes, calibrate, etc), and it takes up so much room. &nbsp;The PRISM XR toilet bowl charging docks and the AMVR charging dock do a great job charging and are less finicky than the others. &nbsp;Finally I love playing with my Tactsuit Pro haptic suit because the motors don’t hurt; would never “tase” myself with the Owo and would never use it

  as someone who trains physically with milsims (I use weight vests and stuff) I really want a haptic vest and a treadmill, they would be such game changers for me
