When watching on Episode 28 on Thursday I was like “Ah dip. I know exactly where that other Nat 20 is. Should I? Nah. I’ve been editing so much and I have a project I’m editing for a friend, I shouldn't.” I blinked and five hours later it was DONE. So enjoy rare drop! I hope you all enjoy!

10:42 Brennan basically said, "Sam correctly answered all of the questions that I was going to ask!! Before I actually asked the questions." 😂

Wick has proved to me that Sam is a master at playing the Fool. Looking like an absolute idiot till you get caught off guard as he rocks your world with his performance. In one of the fireside chats with him and Liam, Liam pointed out that he's lying when he says he doesn't watch the show.

"I had so many things in the flowcharts for what could happen. None of them were telling the truth"

If nothing else, Sam is able to act the hell out of a scene. He had some prep time with the Calamity one, from the wrap-up it's stated he spent the break actively writing that script. This new one he did off the cuff it seems and the fact he flabbergasted Brennen in such a way have to make him rethink how the scene could possibly have gone is just great.

the fact that sam was SO GOOD on the last c4 ep that brought back critical role being scripted discourse. that's just his power.

Brennan's reaction is like that parent during summer that comes home from work fully prepared to interrogate their teenager about why they didn't their chores and then fight with them to actually get them done all evening, only to walk in and discover that all the housework is done and dinner has been prepared for them.

"Well done, Kid. Here's $20. Go have fun with your friends, just be home by 10."

The acting is phenomenal but it's not just that, it's being able to perfectly hit all the points needed in a briefing hidden behind a DM screen. Because Brennan rewards emotion and acting in many cases, but that specific combination of the emotion and walking a razor's edge of what is needed in the moment is what's interpreted as a nat 20 with no dice needed. Sooooo good.
