  More people need to shed the notion that Champagnes are only for celebrations. &nbsp;I suppose one barrier is that it costs more to find and drink &quot;good&quot; Champagne than it does for still wine. &nbsp;And contrary to popular notion, NV Champagne ages nicely as long as they&apos;re cellared properly. They may not develop the same complexities as vintage Champagnes, but age tames aggressive bubbles and allows tertiary notes to come forward. &nbsp;Of course, that&apos;s if you like that sort of thing.

  I buy the non-vintage Champagnes and I try to keep 3-5 bottles at a time. Along with my other wines but I&apos;m starting to enjoy Champagnes more and more. I purchased 2 bottles of Costco&apos;s Brut Champagne and I was impressed with the price. Especially if I feel like drinking Champagne for no particular reason and don&apos;t want to open a more expensive bottle. Thank you!

  We&apos;ve enjoyed 1998, 2009 and 2010 vintage wines this past week. &nbsp;1998 Louis Roederer Blanc de Blancs (the secret is that there was no Cristal that year). &nbsp;2009 Franck Bonville Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru. &nbsp;2010 Bereche Campania Remensis Extra Brut Rose. &nbsp;For the most part, the 2008&apos;s and 2012&apos;s are still resting. &nbsp;Good Champagne lives as long as any other fine wine. &nbsp;We would say it richly rewards aging although if your particular taste prefers the wines younger, that&apos;s totally legitimate. &nbsp;Vive la Champagne!

  I&apos;m a big fan of Charles Heidsieck, I keep the vintage wines for special occasions, currently drinking the &apos;12s but the nv is always a pleasure too and very consistant. Great video, thanks.
