Phil needs his name putting forward for sainthood. I guess he's just grateful they are just clients and he doesnt have to take them home to live with them.

Everyone needs to compromise regardless of budget. The ones that don’t are the ones that never move out of their rental and compromise on their earning potential.

I've watched dozens of episodes of this show-I love it; Kirstie and Phil are excellent at what they do!-and the lady in this one takes the cake as the most difficult/impossible buyer of any of the buyers on any of the episodes I've ever
seen.
I'm glad, though, that in the end she and her husband found an area they liked and a house there that they did a great job renovating to create the house they wanted.

I moved back to the Netherlands from NZ leaving behind a wonderful house. But you've got to compare apples with apples not apples with oranges. It's as simple as that!

..........the younger couple was annoying as hell, the fact that he was wasn't interested in actually buying anything and was only appeasing his wife by looking must have been very frustrating for Phil. I wanted to shake him, that and his pessimistic attitude regarding his view of how he thought the market was going to 'tank'!! I didn't think they'd EVER actually buy something.............it STILL took them an additional 2 years but he finally let go of the purse strings.

Cats aren't that picky, she is.😮 Build a catio in that great back yard. Perhaps they can pitch a tent or live in their car, soon enough they and the cats will be homeless. The guy is just wasting your time. Let him pay the mortgage for someone else. How's that for good finical planning...guess what... it's not.

For couple with cats, I would go with the last house. Although top of budget, it is relatively move-in ready and it's 4 bedrooms and has a cute nice garden that is isn't overlooked. For the second couple, the nice house the saw in the wrong location was really beautiful but I am happy they found more beautiful modern brand new shiny house. That feeling like living in a hotel is exactly my dream.
