  When i got my business license, the person doing my paperwork asked if I was opening a store. I said nope, I do farmer&apos;s markets and vendor events. Eventually a food truck. I know my limitations they laughed, I just need a few employees and my peace.

  Pinky and other businesses like her are a little more worried about how they look to others on social media and trying to live a lavish lifestyle to say they have it, &nbsp;instead of just focusing on the business. &nbsp;It&apos;s okay to live your life but do it within your means, and don&apos;t do things to try to show that your bigger than you are for outside looks.

  I think another issue we see with a lot of these black owned establishments is that a lot of people are going into this industry without having any type of previous restaurant experience whatsoever and it shows. We are also seeing too many places making vibes and aesthetics their main focus, when it should be on the food and service.
