  Hi, Awsome job , been doing hand painting jobs on vans and cars for 40 yrs so tried them all.<br>Car re-paint, Tractol enamel, Dulux gloss, Hammerite garage door paint, Aldi metal paint, Rustoleum and so on.<br>The big secret is prep, prep, and prep. <br>It&apos;s 90 percent prep and 10 percent paint <br>Do the preparation correctly as above and you will get a decent job, the worst you will get is an orange peel job which is no worse than a DIY or cheapo spray job.<br>My latest job is an LDV convoy painted with military satin paint ( satin is more forgiving if you like the finish) even a tar brush would make &nbsp;a Convoy look good LOL.<br>Keep up the good work all you hand painters and save lots and lots of cash.

  Always use a square object to stir paint not round.

  Just painted my van with brush<br>Brush gave nonotrange peel<br>Mild strokes but kept in same direction so reflection is few times better than from roller<br>Dark blue colour

  I tried this with rust oleum white and it was a disaster. After sanding back and trying again 3 times i still couldn’t get rid of the orange peel textured finish. Even tried different amounts of thinners. Still no joy. Finally had to pay a professional to respray it properly.

  Really great video. I wonder is the sanding nescecery between each coat? I will attemt to wetsand only the last layer.
