  I’ve been inspired by and learned so much from Bishop Barron and I applaude what he is trying to do with these conversations. I still have great difficulty listening to a  New York Democrat (I’m a Catholic New Yorker) calling himself a Catholic, he proves to be yet another “Cafeteria  Catholic”. If you do not believe what the Catholic Church believes, you are not a Catholic, I cheer for anyone called to Jesus but please respect the teachings of the Catholic Church.

  Wonderful conversations where pivotal themes were explored! I’m with you too. I thought these issues and outcomes that I’m hearing now! I’m not alone because they can be solved satisfactory.   Such a delight to hear a Democrat willing to find common ground.  The last five minutes of the discussion were tense but most certainly in the right direction for some kind of resolution to the abortion issue.

  Thank you Bishop Barron for standing firm for Catholic faith. You did an amazing job! Thank you for pressing him on abortion issue and speaking up for the most defenseless. Props to Suozzi for being civil and friendly.

  As an OBGYN there is never a reason to kill a baby in a third trimester abortion. If the mother health is at risk, you just deliver the baby. Period. I am so tired of hearing politicians say this.

  I will pray for Congressman Suozzi, may the Holy Spirit guide him in facilitating the reading and discussion of  Rerum Novarum and Centesimus Annus between Catholic lawmakers in the congress. I am looking forward for the time when the broken immigration system in this country, USA, will be finally fixed!! Robust system that cannot be changed by whoever sitting in the White House. Let us care sincerely for the immigrants. And work towards less and less to NO  abortion.  🙏🙏🙏

  Oh man, I would love to have Bishop Barron put together a Catholic politician roundtable on Rerum Novarum; it'll be fantastic!  Leo XIII was prescient in looking at all the mess that the modern world has inflicted on us.
