  Jorge (the creator and voice of Odysseus) is working on the Illium. Also his mom played Odysseus mom, his dad (who built his home studio) was Hephestus, and his sister one of the winions. His girlfriend is the woman who voices circe and they met through this project.

  Oh, and I&apos;m sure someone has mentioned it by now... but when they finished making all these songs, they planned to stream FROM Ithaca itself with as many of the cast as they could manage. A big storm and other troubles hit and they had to record the party to post online later instead. So they had their own mini version of events in real life.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnWAkenJirc&amp;t=283">4:43</a> A cool detail about the production of Epic is that the mortal ensemble is diegetic. The gods come with their own ensembles, but otherwise the ensembles are established characters like the crew.

  I&apos;m sorry if this is off topic, but seeing an actual Broadway actor watching an animatic made by an animator from my country who is also my age just makes me SO PROUD and SO HAPPY! Like... WOW! You go, Gigi, we love you!!! 🇧🇷

  Please release an uncuted version of this, even if it&apos;s 3 hours, that give us the pretext to watch it all over again, for us that would be a blessing, almost like watching it with a friend :D

  Also you&apos;ll be happy to learn, Will, that a full animated movie for the musical was greenlit back in April! So that should hopefully come out in a few years time!

  Fun fact: Jorge Rivera Herrans and Lin Manuel are both Puerto Rican and Jorge (Jay) who plays Odysseus, the Winions and Polyphemus was inspired by Lin when making his musical. Also not too long ago they met each other I believe for lunch!

  Many of the characters drawn in the Animatics are drawn based on the voice actors of them! My dream cast of Hermes is very much just Troy Doherty, who voices him, because he personifies him so well.

  For your rewatches, each main character has a dedicated instrument. Odysseys does have a slight change from acoustic to electric as he turns into the &quot;monster&quot;. The guy who made it has many clips from when he was writing it about each of his details, because E V E R Y T H I N G &nbsp;is intentional and incredible

  Fun fact: Mason Olshavsky, who plays the prophet Tiresias, is currently on Broadway as a swing/understudy in The Lost Boys right now.<br><br>Also, the voice actors for Athena, Hermes, Telemachus, Penelope, Poseidon, and Aphrodite all have their own original music. (there may be more that I&apos;m forgetting)
