  Pyramid Head’s Giant Knife is intentionally unwieldy and hard to use. It’s described as being a “burden on whoever wields it” and can actually one shot one of the bosses in Silent Hill 2 if I remember correctly. It’s a curse and James having it is not a good thing.

  The Axe of Godfrey wasn’t doing anything because they didn’t have enough strength to use it. If they did there would have been a massive shockwave after planting the axe and they’d have started glowing red. That indicates a damage boost and a new heavy attack moveset. Still suffers from being a colossal weapon but it can be a fun niche in pvp that most people underestimate since the range of the shockwave is so large and the heavy attacks are so strong

  Only thing I gotta point out is this: Johnny Silverhand&apos;s gun is actually still good <b>if</b> you spec into a build for it that basically makes you Johnny himself, since the gun in the actual lore was custom designed and made for his chrome arm.

  To be fair to Devil May Cry, the possession of both brother&apos;s swords is a plot point across many of the games. It&apos;s pretty much implied that Virgil would not be capable of using Dante&apos;s own swords with as much efficiency as Dante himself can.

  The only reason that Dante couldn&apos;t use the Yamato correctly was due to his lack of MOTIVATION

  The thing with Dante and Yamato is that the sword is not his style, he doesn&apos;t like using his decease brother&apos;s signature weapon, you can feel that he clearly had some sort of respect and love for his at the time death brother, Nero does use the sword way better but you can clearly see Dante holding back in the entire game.

  Dante literally says &quot;not bad for a cheap imitation&quot; after pulling off a judgement cut with Yamato. I think this implies he&apos;s clearly merely emulating Vergil while using the thing.

  Regarding the Sword of Eden in Unity, the really outrageous thing is that there are one or two swords that you can purchase in the store that have equal stats.

  Just wanted to point out that Dante&apos;s usage of the Yamato in DMC4 is almost exactly the same as Vergil&apos;s moveset in DMC3 minus rapid slashes and upper slash.

  Point of order; Jonny&apos;s flashbacks are implied to be colored by his own ego. He does massive damage, sure, but he&apos;s also a bit of a narcissist, so the exact power level of his gun is debatable.

  Bear in mind that Dante and Virgil both got different aspects of the powers of the demon Sparda. &nbsp;So Virgil&apos;s sword is designed to help him make the most of the powers he got from Sparda. &nbsp;I imagine that Virgil would have the same issues if he tried to use Dante&apos;s sword.
