Donny Long used to coach me & my brother from 85-87 on the Southside of Youngstown Ohio. I remember when he came back from this fight. His first words was “Yeah youngsta I lost”!!! He was always laid back & made training fun & would throw parties at the gym. Those were the days!!! He’s a pastor now.

I'm almost the same age as Tyson and if you think the reporters are acting dismissive of Mike you're right. The whole boxing world was stuck in the mentality of "you have to fight for 12 rounds" or it isn't a real fight. Mike was so good he knocked out people in the first round and the "experts" thought that he was just lucky and he wasn't a real fighter. It really was a turning point for boxing and Mike didn't just wipe out opponents he wiped out the reporters who dissed him.

Tyson is very intelligent. Listen to the way he answers those dumb ass questions. Like they don’t even understand the answers he responds with. They just cut him off and asks the next question.
