  Love how you go outside of your comfort zone on these pioneering trips! &nbsp;I can quickly tell I would be totally dependent on the charity of strangers. <br><br>I love the extensive but confusing public transit system. That dual mode bus was a mindblower. I wish the US wouldn’t be so backward in that regard.

  Always interesting.<br>Such small train tickets. <br>You need to make a check list for riding trains. I saw some trees cut into circles a few mins ago as you were on the train. 😊 👍

  That was fascinating. I&apos;m trying to choose between Kanazawa or Shikoku as part of my next Japan trip and lots of people keep saying a rental car is a must to get around Shikoku. That dual-mode bus sounds like a hoot though - love the ceremony behind the mode change lmao.
