Simi Garewal is a marvel. Charming, mysterious, graceful, exotic. One quality which shines through in all her films and interviews is her ability to connect and the empathy she has for others. Whichever movie she has been part of, she IS the character she portrays! Mera Naam Joker or Sidharta or Karz, she is just amazing! Her interview style is so natural. It is a free flowing conversation, not an inquisition asking awkward questions or raking up unnecessary controversies.

My mother met her when she came to London to our shop. She was very kind as my mother says.

Even at this age Waheedaji looks very beautiful. Perhaps her beauty is also enhanced by the personality that she is inside. What a dignified & magnanimous lady !

Waheeda ji is so sweet - '2 martaba meine hungama kee hain' oh my god so adorable. Simi ji is amazing. Two elegant ladies in one frame. They don't make women like this anymore.

Thanks to this Lockdown, I am sitting and home re-visiting the old movies that I had seen in my youth. I am eighty years old and when in college, as a member of the USIS Library Book Discussion Groupin Bangalore, I reviewed the book RK Narayan's  "GUIDE".  I readily agreed to do so. Waheeda Rahman is one of my favourite actresses and the "GUIDE" a favourite movie of mine. I am glad that I had the opportunity to watch this Interview. Both Simi Garewal and Waheeda Rehman were wonderful actresses and the empathy they had for each other and the thread of affection and friendship they had for each other is revealed in this interview. I am in Chennai now. In this Lockdown period, I have seen "PYAASA" and "KAGAZ KE PHOOL"  I look forward to seeing other movies of Waheeda Rehman and Simi Garewal.                                                                                                 JAYASHEKAR GANAPATHY

Waheeda Rehman was a cinematographer’s dream. The way the lighting hits her face in many of her films is mesmerizing. Her face is stunning and so expressive. Truly one of the most talented actresses of all time and most beautiful. Simi you are as always an amazing interviewer

Watching after dada saheb phalke was announced. This rendezvous takes us to the classic golden era of Hindi cinema. 😊 Waheeda ji is large hearted as she still gave credit to raj khosla for her first success even  though she developed differences. I appreciate her courage to say that most of her co actors who were actor- director were better directors than actors. Simi ji , I really loved your last scene with waheeda ji in aadmi when she gives you papers. I have watched original Tamil Aalayamani and Gudi gantalu (Telgu remake ) your scene with waheeda ji still stands out. 🙏  I also remember Yash ji  kabhie Kabhie. Once me and my elder sister was thinking who is the most graceful lady in Hindi cinema and we both exclaimed at the same time waheeda ji. 🥰  Thanks simi ji for this soothing & classic interview of forever graceful waheeda ji. 😇

What a phenomenal interview. More than physical beauty her intelligence shines through. No wonder thinking mind of Guru Dutt fell for her.
