The actor who plays Jamie Tartt is somehow able to exude douchebaggery with everything he says and does. Amazing.

Ted Lasso is what humanity should be. Forgiving, understanding, considerate, kind.

One of my favorite jokes in the Pilot was:
"Where's he from?"
"Wales"
"Is that in England?"
"Yes and no."
"How many countries are in this country?"
[all assistant coaches] "Four"

He's here, he's there, he's every-f'in-where, Roy Kent....Roy Kent. Roy is definitely one of my favorites but the amount of acting Jason Sudeikis does with just his eyes in a lot of scenes blows me away.

Finding out he makes the biscuits is when I said to myself, “This show is good.”

If people didn’t tell you yet, the actress who plays Rebecca is the Septa who messed with Cersi and rang the bell saying “shame”

You mentioned Ted not being naive, and it reminded me of this quote... Ted Lasso reminds me of an American version of Captain Carrot Ironfounderson from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series.

“Colon thought Carrot was simple. Carrot often struck people as simple. And he was. Where people went wrong was thinking that simple meant the same thing as stupid.”

I don’t think Ted appears to be naive. He actually looks like nothing gets past him. He’s just choosing to be nice.

Fun fact that I only found out a few days ago... Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) is one of the co-writers for the show and realized while writing Roy's character that he could actually play him really well. I love Roy Kent, but I can't help but continually call him Angry Luigi

Knowing that Sudekis was also going through a separation/divorce around this somehow makes that part where he lets his wife go even more heart-wrenching. I see why people like the show, I'll have to watch it in its entirety at some point.

This show was a one note joke, a fish out of water that wouldn't last more than one season. By the end of episode 4, AFC Richmond are now my second team and I hope Ted Lasso never leaves my life. I love this show, everyone involved should be tremendously proud of what they've made.
