The JHD doll in the corset (Gilded Silhouette ) is not an Annamay sculpt, it's a Kelly/KK.

Yaasss, Ms. Becky Jean!!! Come through 😂 With Dolly, I wish I had paid more attention to the forum. I had no idea it was specifically Dolly and was at work during the release and missed out. I’m not bothered by the face…I still see Dolly. Grateful we are getting more dolls next year!!! Defa…I don’t even know what to say. I got what I wanted but that 24hr notice is absolutely ridiculous.

I understand your frustration about the 12 - 24 hours delay between the announcement of their arrival and the actual day/time availability of the dolls on the Defa Lucy Web site. When I saw the email, the dolls were already sold out!!!!!

You are the doll whisperer!!! We love your insights! We literally spent the equivalent of a decent sized house payment on dolls this last weeks between all the releases!!! Right now, we are legitimately mulling the pros/cons of making the pilgrimage to the Coat of many colors museum next week. Aaaaasgggggghhhhh!!! Happy Birthday! 30 is the best year. Cheers to you.

I want give Defa grace and be like they didn't know about the red lace. But it's also like, they don't have teams to research this? Like, if you're going to do a fashion line based on punk, the least you could do is figure out why something is labeled punk and the significance of certain articles of clothing.

Thanks for bringing it up, regardless.

I always love to hear your thoughts on the newly released dolls and your knowledge of the doll companies. I was able to get the Dreamin' in Gingham Dolly. Great video!

Thanks for the heads up on the laces. I had heard about the white laces but not the red ones. And yes it was a crazy week for dolls. I actually only got model 4 but was tempted by so much (I want that museum exclusive Dolly too but no way lol)

I didn’t know about the Dolly Parton dolls and wish I had been able to get one. I hope that since this was obviously planned way before anyone knew anything about her health nor that her death was imminent I really hope that there will be a wide accessible collection of dolls created specifically for her death and her enduring legacy for all of us to celebrate her life.

Great review, especially that information regarding the red strings meaning in punk culture. Getting my black marker now!

Thanks for the review on these doll releases. The JHDs I liked were the chocolate shop one and the Alice one. The Dolly Parton dolls were nice, but I wasn’t quite feeling it. As for Defa Lucy, your crash out is valid. 24 hours notice before a drop is quite frankly taking the p**s! And it wouldn’t stop any bots anyway, if that’s the reasoning behind it. I would’ve gone for punk 4 if I could’ve ordered straight from the site, but I can’t because I live outside the regions they ship to.

Anyway, after lurking for a bit and liking your videos, I’m now subscribed. I hope you had a nice birthday. 😊
