  Fun fact. The item spy used to fake his death is an actually an item in TF2 called the dead ringer. It let's you fake your death and turn invisible to escape.

  Spy&apos;s ability in this animation is actually the item called &quot;Dead Ringer&quot;. <br> <br>How the dead ringer works in a nutshell: is that if spy gets hit when the dead ringer is active, he immediately turns invisible and leaves a fake corpse behind.

  Hoodydude you NEEEEED to watch every Crash Maul video after this. Everything he makes is straight PEAK, so much that I&apos;m willing to wait until you finish White on Spy before telling you to watch Hunter: the Parenting again (which is also a must-watch).<br>Also Hoodydude encountering 2000s SFM humor for the first time and being completely blindsided is killing me😭 forgot about the Left 4 Dead music too, taking me back.<br><br>Edit: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXyaRfdZCDU&amp;t=498">8:18</a> - Bonk and Scrumpy (Hennessy) are actually canonically two of the ingredients in the original mix that created the ubercharge that medic&apos;s medigun gives, so this is lore-accurate I shit you not. This is basically the TF2 version of the chemicals that turned Barry into the Flash.<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXyaRfdZCDU&amp;t=905">15:05</a> - Spy has a cloaking watch that has a charge the drains with use, but it has alternate unlocks like the Dead Ringer, which lets him fake his death as seen in the video. And the knife he killed Medic with is called &quot;Your Eternal Reward&quot;, and lets him instantly &nbsp;take the disguise of whoever he just killed while making the kill silent.

  The Stopwatch you see Spy holding is an unlockable item called the Dead Ringer, instead of turning invisible whenever you want like the regular watch it lets you fake your own death by planting a corpse and giving you mad damage resistance for a few seconds to get out of dodge. It&apos;s not nearly as overpowered as it is in this animation tho

  The reason why the spy and scout came back when they got hurt was because of that pocket watch the spy had the deadrinnger, any damage taken not lethal drops a fake body and makes you invisible.
