Thank you for crediting my channel on the clip you used of the LinnDrum. I recently saw one of my TR-808 videos used in a video about Marley Marl but was uncredited.

Just an FYI, Prince & The Human League actually used the predecessor to the LinnDrum, the LM-1. Both have similar look and sounds, though.

Another great video! I actually learned a few things I hadn't know. Keep up the good work!

My friend, I work for an academic music department in the US, and we have faculty who know about your channel. There's nothing trash about this theory.

I remember when I was a kid in the 80’s and hearing “Don’t You Want Me” on the radio in the hallway of the family that babysat me. We all stopped and listened to the whole song because we had never heard anything like it before.

I'd love a deep dive into Cabaret Voltaire! They're touring (sans Richard, natch) this fall, probably for the last time, and they were so important to the Sheffield scene that eventually produced the Human League

Weird fact: when Lester Bangs was found dead, "Dare was spinning on the turntable, and the needle was stuck on the end groove", Jim DeRogatis wrote in Let It Blurt, his biography of Bangs.
