Ever since Freeze Dry I've felt like the concept of a "Kinesis" move would make sense to be a Psychic freeze dry, strong against Steel. But that might make more sense as a new move called like... Spoon Bend idk

Gen 8's move animations were so weirdly inconsistent.

Double Kick: The user's model hops up slightly and a foot appears on the foe

Tail Whip: The user's model turns around and waggles a bit

No Reteat: The user suddenly appears on a mountain's edge flanked with torches while a typhoon rages behind them and shouts to the wargods for victory!

Fun fact about No Retreat: if Falinks is trapped by another move (Like Mean Look) before it uses No Retreat, it can use the move multiple times since No Retreat only fails if the Pokémon was trapped by it.

A funny one to me is that Accelgor got water shuriken in gen 8, and Greninja wasn’t included in gen 8, so water shuriken became Accelgor’s signature move until something else learns it or Greninja is brought back in the future

I’m surprised you forgot to mention Tsareena’s Signature move, Trop Kick, a 70 base attack physical Grass STAB move that will always drop the enemy’s attack stat, a damn good move to have if you don’t get access to Leaf Blade.

11:23 On the topic of missing 95% accurate moves, I vividly remember when I was playing a friend's copy of SS at his house and my Cyndaquil missing Tackle 3 times IN A ROW. I was flaberghasted something like this could even happen. I remember sitting there staring at Tackle's accuracy as my friend was laughing at my luck.

Bulbapedia is a really good way to fix your Mandela misconceptions from the older generations. Only minor stuff, but your gen 4 beginning is fairly visible.

Yeah, Legends Arceus pretty much gave some great signature moves in general. There’s the very broken ones like Victory Dance and Lunar Blessing, like you mentioned, but then you have moves like Hisuian Sliggoo and Goodra’s Shelter, which raises both defensive stats in addition to raising evasion. This not only makes your opponent’s moves more likely to miss, but the ones that do connect deal less damage. Plus you have moves like Infernal Parade (Hisuian Typhlosion), Barb Barrage (Hisuian Qwilfish and Overqwil), and Bitter Malice (Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark) that basically act as slightly weaker versions of moves such as Hex and Venoshock that deal double the damage if the target has a status condition, but compensate for that by having a built-in 30% chance of inflicting a status condition (Burn for Infernal Parade, Poison for Barb Barrage, and Frostbite for Bitter Malice).

Ironically I've always liked smellingsalts since my first shiny was a hariyama in emerald I found on victory road with the move

Some other whack ones from Gen 6:
Trevenant’s Forest Curse - adds grass typing to the target
Gorgeist’s Trick-or-Treat - adds ghost typing to the target
It does not CHANGE them to the type. It ADDS the type. A pokemon that’s already dual type will have THREE TYPES. Is this useful? No. Is it funny to turn Heracross into a Bug/Fighting/Grass type giving it an 8x weakness to flying, effectively making a Gust from Pidgey equivalent to a nuclear missile strike? It’s hysterical.

What about Volt Tackle? That's a pretty good signature move with a high base power. The only downside is it causes recoil but still, it's a signature move. It's exclusive to the Pikachu line too and it's kinda weird you skipped the signature move of the mascot.
