I understand this is just a Minecraft animation, but the fact that such cruelty and torture have existed throughout human history—and still exist today—simply because someone wasn't strong enough or was born in the wrong place at the wrong time, exposes the darkest side of humanity

Tridents in MC can be enchanted with Loyalty which allows them to return to the thrower

And the imprisoned villager was using the blood from the bats to rust the bars of the cage

Final thing is, villagers dressed in green are nitwits, the ones without jobs that you can't trade with. Herr literally has no skill in anything, that's why he's so incompetent. So the fact he did anything at all, is a big step forward.

Larr is killing the bats so he can put their blood on the medal bars to make them rusty and make them weaker so he can escape

It’s sad because even if they do somehow manage to kill the player (us) we will still respawn… over and over again

30:06 "fun" fact: you actually can live. The arrow did not hit his spine. He won't die instantly. But he's gonna die from either bleedout or suffocation. If he's lucky and the arrow missed both the artery, the spine and the trachea, he'll live.
