  there is a record that was on youtube  from the 80s I guess - each track was a different synth. Chroma was one I think, also the Roland MC-8 -  if anyone knows what the album or artist was

  Not a criticism, but I never see/hear any demo of the Chroma's amazing controller routings. You can assign 16 simultaneous commands to either of the (2) levers, and do is in bi-polar fashion. In addition the routing to the (2) modulation pedals is on equal footing( no pun intended) although not bi-polar. Lastly, there are the damper pedals and foot-switch which are totally programmable as well. All combined, this leads to extreme changes in the sound on-the-fly. I don't know of any other analog-poly that does this to this extent.

  Dear David,  wow - a very nice demo. I have the Chroma and Expander, but the Chroma has the case problem - I think like your Chroma too, so the paint from the Chroma wood combinds with the foam of the big case. So I think to let it sandblasting, or I buy another wooden part. I like your design very much, which kind of wood is it now, you said the original is cherrytree, but it is originally bright es well?

  This is a beautiful instrument, sadly underrated, mainly due to the lack of the "knob factor", but its voice architecture is way more complex than that of the mythical CS-80, and has thicker -pole LPF's. Mine has the CC+ update, and I got an Enabler for it, and let me tell you, it gives my CS80 a fun for its money.

  Do you know the brand name of the shocks on your vehicle that you used to drive the Chroma to the shop for repairs, because that&apos;s the only detail you left out on this endless self-indulgent diatribe of useless information. Whats with all the reverb? The Chroma sounds nothing like this.
