Looking forward to the rest of this series and it's important to mention how his life as a military officer influenced his views and style alike. Churchill joined the British Army in 1894 and saw action from Cuba to India to South-Africa, writing books about his experiences. Becoming a politician he even re-commissioned as LtColonelfor the first World War narrowly escaped death in Belgium. Between 1919 - 1935 Churchill enjoyed a deep friensdship with Thomas Edward Lawrence "of Arabia". <br>In later life Sir Winston Churchill certainly enjoyed the good of living grand like "God in France" as he painted many scenes at the French Riviera and Provence region.<br>Curious to see if this series will also elaborate on Churchill's wrist watches Lemania and Rolex.<br> A great celebration of his 150th anniversary but January 2025 will already mark the 60th anniversary of his passing...
