After watching this video, I learned four useful methods for practicing English speaking:

The first method is shadowing. It can be done at two levels: one is repeating after a sentence or a line, and the other is repeating simultaneously with the speaker. This helps improve pronunciation, rhythm, and listening skills.

The second method is turning passive vocabulary into active vocabulary. This means using the words you've learned in daily life. For example, try describing what you're doing in English, such as doing the laundry, taking the elevator, or going to the gym. The more you use these words, the more naturally they come to you.

The third method is thinking in English. When you're trying to explain something or reflecting on a conversation, try doing it in English. You can also imagine how to express something better, or pretend to be someone else, like a movie star or your mentor, and speak in their style. This helps you train your brain to form sentences directly in English.

The fourth method is using English to build your interpersonal network. Thanks to the internet, we can easily connect with people from all over the world, both native and non-native English speakers. We all have different backgrounds, so there's always something new to learn and share. Communicating with others gives us real-life opportunities to use English.

Overall, I think these methods are very practical, and I plan to try shadowing and thinking in English more often in my daily life.

New sub here. I'm new here and I came to say how I've appreciate your video. I'm a Brazilian Portuguese speaker and learning English is so challenging when you have nobody near to speak English together. Brazil is a tough country with less than 5% of the population who can actually speak to another native English speaker.
