  I use cheap fabrics all the time! When I op shop (thrift/charity shop) I find all sorts of amazing fabric, bed sheets, a seamstress&apos;s stash, a quilter&apos;s stash, all sorts of amazing cheap fabric. It&apos;s not how much the fabric costs, it&apos;s how much you love it, that makes a quilt amazing!!

  OK baby girl, that quilt is absolutely divine. You’ve done such a fantastic job putting it together…. For those of us that are beginners and would like to make us one. You failed to tell us how many you used , how many blocks of a certain color that you used ,and where did you place them to make this quilt….. wish you would do it again with more detail and the arrangement of how many colors. Thank you so much really enjoy your videos.❤❤❤ keep them coming❤

  I got a fat quarter bundle from Amazon that in one of the &nbsp;Mrs Quilty boxes you opened in one of your Videos, I never ordered it again as it felt cheap. Nice that they add some other stuff in their boxes. If I knew every box would have quality fabrics, I would subscribe.

  When cutting, put a heavy weight at the top of your ruler to stop it from moving. I use a 2kg dumbbell but a large tin of tomatoes or 2litre bottle of water will do the job.

  I use any fabric I can find. Cotton fabric in South Africa is very expensive. Love the challenge to create a quilt out of a variety of fabric. &nbsp;<br>Love your colours!

  I bought inexpensive fat quarters from Wal-Mart, and cut them into 5&quot; squares. &nbsp;I made a fantastic disappearing 9-patch (&quot;Confetti quilt), and it looks fabulous! (If I do say so myself! 🙃)
