  It is honestly wild how emotionally touching the departure of Jesse from Skinny Pete and Badger is. Like, they’re great supporting characters and all in Breaking Bad, but they don’t sway the narrative in ways that are irreplaceable, but their history with Jesse is written all over the way they take him in and help him escape. It’s tragic how much love they show Jesse in a moment where he is so broken by his captivity that he can hardly process it.

  Skinny pete and Badger were so great in that film, like the whole difference why Jesse is alive and free unlike Walt and Saul is that  he had people to fall back on

  i felt that el camino was the best portrayal of PTSD I’ve ever seen. the way it shows flashbacks, and how even when you are in a safe environment you don’t /feel/ safe, hit close to home

  Throughout the series, we see Jesse with bugs. He never kills them. I believe this is to show Jesse&apos;s innate respect for life. Killing never comes easy for him--unless the person has harmed a child.

  With that one scene of Skinny Pete saying “I’m not helping you put Jesse Pinkman back in a cage,” I wish he added “as far as I’m concerned, he’s already done his time.”
