  You did an excellent job, the accessories and their flexibility is not an easy thing to design be proud of yourself. I can’t believe how little you are charging.

  seeing this, there is no excuse to fab shop professionally on a bent 4x8 with some wood clamps! Great effort Viny!

  I first used an Acorn Platen about 28 years ago. &nbsp;About 25 years ago I convinced my boss to send out a 4x8 sheet of 1.5&quot; steel that he got in trade for blanchard grinding and then I laid out a pattern of 1/2-13 threaded holes that I drilled and tapped with a mag-drill so we had a welding table that we could use TE-CO clamps on. &nbsp;It became a workhorse in that shop but way less convenient because after building a good heavy base for it, it was probably over 3,000 lbs and needed a pretty serious forklift to put it in place.<br><br>Pretty soon it will be my chance to outfit my shop and I want something special. &nbsp;I will have essentially a slightly oversized 4 car garage. &nbsp;In the front, two spots for parking that I can also seal off for a wood shop or paint booth. &nbsp;In the back, one spot will be a very compact machine shop and in the other I want to sink a scissors lift in to the floor with a welding fixture plate top on it and some bolt on wings that can pick up the lift points of a car. &nbsp;That will let it be a welding table, a car lift or just parking. &nbsp;I&apos;ll add a gantry crane in the ceiling to lift engines and heavy steel for big welding projects if I ever need to do any of that.<br><br>I might even weld up the fixture plate and then get the top ground.<br><br>Any way, I have saved your video and when the time comes I will get in touch for some custom designs. &nbsp;Depending on what I can find, I&apos;ll either need a custom fixture plate to fit over a scissors lift that I buy used or I&apos;ll need to design a scissors lift and a custom fixture plate to minimize the collapsed height so I don&apos;t need to put a deep hole in my concrete slab...

  I&apos;d love to see the top panel be setup like the bottom where you add the leg plate. Say I wanted a 3x6 table- Having 6 individual 1x2 panels that could be adjusted at each corner from underneath with some kind of threaded setup to fine tune the surface might be kinda cool, if not completely unnecessary.
