  In my 27 years of life, no matter how bad or crazy the world gets, this series and the community around it have always provided me with a feeling of comfort. I genuinely don't know what my life would look like without the influence of this wonderful franchise.

  Other KH facts you need to know! <br> <br>- In KH1, Aya Brea from Square&apos;s &quot;Parasite Eve&quot; was supposed to be part of Leon&apos;s team but she was replaced by Aerith at the request of someone from the original FFVII team. <br> <br>- Tifa was supposed to be a secret boss in KH1 in a cup of her own like Sephiroth but she was cut either for time constraints or because they probably wanted her to have an actual role in the story like she would eventually have in KH2. <br> <br>- A world based on Atlantis: The Lost Empire was almost added to KH1, which Nomura said it would&apos;ve been a good way to promote the movie, but it was scrapped because the world would&apos;ve had a lot of vehicle sections that were already filled by the Gummi Ship and he couldn&apos;t find a way to connect its story to the main game&apos;s. <br> <br>- The KH manga features quite a bit of suggestive content not seen in the games, like Larxene reading a book by Marquis de Sade, a writer known for his incredibly graphic and depraved sexual stories and is where the word &quot;sadism&quot; comes from, Sora finding out Mulan&apos;s a woman by accidentally seeing her breasts when she was bathing and Sora being seduced by a prostitute when he arrives at Traverse Town. <br> <br>- In the pilot for the canceled Kingdom Hearts animated series by Seth Kearsley, Sora is NOT voiced by Haley Joel Osment but rather by Bobby Edner who would later be known for voicing Vaan in FFXII. <br> <br>- Also in said pilot, Frank Welker reprised his role as the Cave of Wonders whereas in the actual games the Cave never speaks like it does in the movie. <br> <br>- Kathryn Beaumont is not the only VA in the series who worked with Walt Disney, as Piglet in KH1 was voiced by John Fiedler, his original VA from the old Winnie-the-Pooh shorts and movies. <br> <br>- For the longest time it was believed that Geoffrey Rush reprised his role as Barbossa in the Australian version of KH2 but this was proven to be false. <br> <br>- Despite being bosses, neither Ursula or Julius have journal entries in Dream Drops Distance despite every other character and enemy having one. Weirdly, Chernabog&apos;s ghosts have their own entries but only in the Japanese version of the original 3DS release of the game. <br> <br>- If you closely at the posters for the Classic Kingdom minigames in Twilight Town, you&apos;ll see that apparently the Mickey Mouse cartoons were produced in-universe by Ludwig Von Drake, a long-time recurring Disney character. <br> <br>- The role of Setzer in KH2 was originally supposed to be filled by Rufus Shinra but Nomura felt there was too much FFVII representation. <br> <br>- Mickey&apos;s outfit in Birth by Sleep is just his KH2 outfit but in monochrome as a reference to his black and white cartoon origins since the game takes place in the past. <br> <br>- Laguna Loire from FFVIII was supposed to be in Birth by Sleep as the host of the Mirage Arena but Square decided to put him in Dissidia 012 instead since they felt he had great potential for a moveset. It&apos;s speculated his presence in a prequel would&apos;ve tied to Leon&apos;s story since he is his father. <br> <br>- Nomura wanted to include Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in KH3 but Disney didn&apos;t let him because they felt it would&apos;ve been &quot;difficult&quot; to fit him in the story. <br> <br>- The Wild Bruiser Unversed is speculated to be a remnant from the scrapped Jungle Book world as his ape-like design and banana on its head are reminiscent of King Louie. <br> <br>- Cinderella has brown hair on her Station of Awakening even though she&apos;s clearly a blonde. This wasn&apos;t fixed in the 1.5 release. <br> <br>- Even though Goofy&apos;s origin is correctly listed as &quot;Mickey&apos;s Revue&quot; from 1932 in KH1, for some reason in all future games his origin is listed as &quot;Two Weeks Vacation&quot; from 1952, a random Goofy short released 20 years after his actual debut. The Ultimania lists his original correct debut, though.

  I can understand the sentiment of wanting KH2 to be the ending but at the same time it&apos;s just weird to think about what I&apos;d be doing if KH2 truly was the final game. No PSP from my friend who let me play BBS on it. No longer imagining what the next game will have in store. No continuous fan events and concerts. If there wasn&apos;t a constant stream of KH media most of these discussions would get stale very fast and the series would be very irrelevant to most modern discussions within gaming. Every game after KH2 is what kept KH relevant for all these years. Imagine who would be in Smash Bros. if it wasn&apos;t Sora. It&apos;s so hard to think about how utterly different the landscape of not just games but storytelling would be if we didn&apos;t have something like Kingdom Hearts. It&apos;s truly an inspirational piece of gaming that I&apos;m so glad to see unfold in my lifetime. It&apos;s been an amazing journey as a fan of the series and seriously cannot wait for KH4.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFdcxQJHPBo&amp;t=331">5:31</a> Oooh wait. Is that why Sora had different designs for each world he visited in the concept arts of KH1? He would essentially copy the abilities of each party member he encounters? If you look at how Sora fights throughout the series he&apos;s always copied the attacks, magic, and abilities he sees. Even taking some of Ventus&apos; moves like Fever Pitch Finisher and incorporating it into his Risk Dodge Counter. That&apos;s so unique and explains so much about how long they&apos;ve thought about Sora&apos;s unique style of combat.
