  Driven lots of Tesla’s and they are great for the most part however to me Xpeng is more interesting both to look at and sit in. It’s probably the most rounded Chinese brand to date and Xpeng (shaao pung - that took bloody ages to think about!) have big ambitions for the future. The kicker is short life cycles and huge depreciation. China can bring a car to market literally in 3-6 months, it’s insane. The Xpeng (won’t bother with pronunciation this time!) factory is just the most insane thing I’ve ever seen. I think we all know legacy brands have their work cut out for the foreseeable future. Nice job Nobby :-)

  I just picked up my current g6 yesterday. I am so happy with it. I drove it home from the dealer in standard mode, mostly freeway 13.3 kWh amazing. We went for the white interior. The lane change, self parking. And FSD when allowed another plus. The only thing I would have liked was a HUD.

  With Xpeng cars you can create an X-kombo. For example when you fasten the seatbelt the over -speed alarm is off, the air volume is set to 5, the temperature is set to 20 degrees, the seat ventilation is set to level 3, the sport mode is engaged, the steering resistance is set to normal and so forth...........Real nice feature

  Long range G6 owner here. Very pleased with the car. Lovely to drive, quiet, spacious and charges very quickly.

  Got the 3rd G6 in Ireland, love the car. The refresh doesn't bother me as so little has changed. Won't impact sell-on value of mine

  The Car even  Beats BMW IX3 and Mercedes glc in Terms of technical data and that for a very good price.

  You can fast charge the car to 90% faster than you could charge the current model to 80%. So on holiday trips you have same range, but most of the time in much shorter time.

  I live in Thailand where the new G6 has just been launched. The new version is actually significantly cheaper than the old G6 was. And i will probably buy one.

  Charging test is a good one. At 80% SOC, a Tesla is barely at 55kW.
