Faker is a nice guy in person. A new reporter for a tiny website was suppose to interview a member of T1's academy team. There was a mixup and that person didn't show up. The reporter was stressed out, but got in touch with the T1 team. The T1 team house was ~15 minutes away, and Faker ran from the T1 house and apologized for the mixup/delay.

Faker owns ~6% of T1 which was worth about 220 million in 2022. He is the games top player, he could easily have sent someone else, but went himself as an apology for the mixup. He also helped the reporter calm down and get through the interview.

Something about the kindness and respect shown by Faker to this newbie reporter has kept that story stuck in my head. That fact that some players from other teams see him as a big brother is cool.

Thumbs up is actually his signature mark😂

The fact tha KKoma spoke after Faker’s dad just shows how much of an influence his coach was. You could see the proudness in his face, that was so beautiful❤

I don’t even play League of Legends and have no desire to, but Faker is considered the GOAT in the gaming scene, he’s like MJ in that regard

You should definitely watch ‘How T1 defied all odds’ it puts into perspective the failure to victory between 2022-2023 for T1 and faker. It also explains a lot more about the specific things that happen in the game for beginners

The Finals at the Staples Center where T1 won their first title is how I found out about League.

A bunch of my LA friends were posting/tweeting about being at the event so I tuned in to the live stream. Went from "there's a video game competition at the Staples Center?" to HOLY CRAP THIS IS AMAZING in one day lol.
