I never got to meet Leonard, but I loved him from the first time I saw him.  I am glad that Adam & his dad mended their problems.  Life is too short for a father & son to have the problems the two of you had.  I'm so sorry that it took you so long to realize it was how Leonard was raised.   You being so young that you didn't realize that he was not only trying to get a career that he loved (which his parents didn't approve), but also trying to give his family a good life.  The stress had to be enormous.  I can't ever remember my dad ever telling me he loved me, until just before he died, but I knew that was how he was raised.  You know God never promised us a rose garden.  Maybe that was God's way of giving us the strength we'd needed when they would be no longer with us.    Shalom.  LLAP

Amazing interview and hearing it from Adam gives it a whole new perspective. Leonard Nimoy was always one of my favorites on Star Trek with his quirky attitude which was always amusing. Thank you Adam for a look behind the curtain and may Leonard RIP.

I went to the same synagogue as Leonard Nemoy. I was maybe 13. It's in West LA. The 2 times I saw Adam (about the same age) our eyes would lock. It was cute

Lovely interview, thank you. It’s amazing how people of my generation — I’m just a little older than Adam — lionized his father because of how he was described by others. I was sad to hear that Leonard cut Shatner off again by the end of his life, but now I know there were flaws on both sides, and that Shatner wasn’t the only big ego involved. Happy that Adam was able to work things out with his father before his father passed.

Adam...play a younger Spock on any Star Trek movie coming up...you have your dad's likeness! We'd love it!

I never thought Spock looked like the devil.  I wanted to be like him, in control of my emotions,  logical. See 2 Corinthians 11:14 (?)

At the beginning of this interview You sound quite whiney. I don’t know anyone who had an easy childhood, but yours was privileged.  Then it sounds like you realized that you also had responsibility
