I hope this story serves as a deterrent for domestic violence. That’s the <i>real</i> lesson here. Folks complaining about how unbalanced the self defense was and how much reward she got based on a <b>legally binding and agreed</b> legal contract are either minimizing the seriousness of domestic violence or are low key identifying more with Julian than Elena.
