When you have faith in God like Abraham, obedience naturally follows. True faith produces love and drives out fear. Much of our wrongdoing-lies, anger, frustration-often begins with fear.<br>When our faith is genuine, our actions flow from it. We are guided by the Holy Spirit, and good works become a natural expression of that faith. Anything done apart from this can feel like stains on clean cloth-outward acts without inward transformation.

Paul says Abraham was counted for righteousness when he was fully convinced, apart from works, not because he obeyed

You are saved by Grace alone through faith alone. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. The Holy Spirit convicts of sin and proves the scriptures.

We are saved by grace through faith. It is not of works lest anyone boast. One who believes their works play a part in their salvation have concluded that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth is not enough to save. They are indeed trusting in their own efforts; they are in error.

Even forgiving someone or the act of repenting. People think thoughts are just that and there is no action needed because it’s in the metaphysical. Jesus says hold your thoughts captive. When you’ve hated your brother in your heart, you’ve already murdered him. Having faith or believing starts as a thought process that puts your body into motion. You can’t say I believe I &nbsp;believe and then what? I think, therefore I do.
