"1995 MTV Video Music Awards" – On September 7, 1995, Michael Jackson attended the ceremony along with his wife Lisa Marie Presley, and his sister Janet Jackson. He also won 3 awards for the music video of his hit single "Scream" featuring Janet. He also performed many of his songs during the ceremony. Presley and many associated with Jackson described this performance as one of the most important in Jackson’s solo career. It was his first live performance since the abrupt end of the Dangerous World Tour, as well as the first since the 1993 false accusations. The only musician inducted into the Dance Hall Of Fame, he also is in the Songwriters Hall Of Fame, and inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame twice and what alot of people don't know is MJ studied animal characteristics and movement which is just otherworldly this is why nobody will be ever to move like him or duplicate him he was/is truly one of a kind Long Live The King Of Music Forever!👑🖤🔥🌟(Also MJ once said the only time he truly felt at home was the stage this man dominated since childhood to his adulthood there will never be another Michael Jackson he’s the greatest. Also Lisa was not happy cause MJ Ghosted her for a whole entire 2 weeks - a month and this award show was her first time seeing MJ since it’s wild she lost all touch with MJ but they got into a bad argument plus MJ was rehearsing etc. for this specific performance so that’s why she has the upset facial expression and I feel "You Are Not Alone" in retrospect the meaning of the song takes on a whole new meaning/beast being MJ isn’t here it interprets that he’s telling his fans that though he isn’t here in the flesh he always will be there in their hearts and in spirit which I agree is quite sad but when the song came out it was so uplifting and a very great love song still is just the song takes on a whole new meaning that MJ isn’t on earth with us anymore. And that part w/ Slash is apart of MJ’s improvisation/genius lol they also do that during future performances etc. and this is 100% his most cohesive choreography he’s ever presented on stage it’s just phenomenally done MJ went alien during this performance almost everything he did was just inhumane for anyone to do he was just truly out of this world! The band around MJ's arm during his performance of "Dangerous" it symbolized his commitment to humanitarianism, with him stating he would wear it until all children live in happiness and love.)

Lisa Marie (his wife) was mad. They hadn’t spoken for weeks before this show. She went on vacation with her kids and ex husband, and Michael was mad about it so he ignored her for weeks 😂 She came only to see him put on a great performance so I’m sure she was bitter lol. But deep down she was like “yup, that’s my man!” Don’t get it twisted, she knew he was the KING and she was obsessed with him after they broke up. He was the love of her life who got away and she deeply regretted it later. She was devastated by their breakup and his death.
