4:11 Death was lonely, since no living thing wanted it, so it split itself in two to always have a friend. I fucking love that so much! It's so beautiful!

An extra bit of lore on Kindred, I may be getting the minutia a bit off, but the general gist of it is:
Lamb understands feelings, but cannot feel them. Wolf can feel emotions, but cannot understand them.

Some of their dialogue shows this, as they often converse between each other:
Lamb asks Wolf what hunger feels like, as she knows what it is, and understands it, but cannot feel it.
Wolf replies stating that hunger is always there and that he doesn't like it, but Wolf doesn't understand why he feels this way.

Kindred has one of the best lines in League!
"- what do all stories have in common, dear wolf?
- they end..."
" - those who run from death, stood still in life"
It's like constant stream of poetry with a dash of existential crisis. I love it

 "Tell me a story, Lamb."

"Once there was a demon who made deals with the doomed."

"What was given?"

"Everything they wanted"

"And what was taken?"

"Everything they had."

The Lamb: "Never one... Without the other."
The Wolf: "Never one... Without the other"
Kindred's idea in and on itself is one of my absolute favourites and their music fits them to a T

I recommend looking at Kindred’s voicelines in your spare time (or perhaps a separate reaction video). Their voicelines are something else…and paired with the music. Its unique in every way 👌

Most people commonly consider Jhin to be League’s best overall designed champion, but for me personally it will always be Kindred ❤. Unfortunately I’m terrible at playing them 😅.

My interpretation has always been that Lamb is the Cello and Wolf the Piano. The reason for this being that Lamb's voicelines in game are all very sombre, I remember reading and listening somewhere that her walk animation is more like a funural march. Wolf's voicelines on the otherhand are more playful, sometimes even innocent but the given to wild frezy when he senses prey nearby.

I love Kindred's voice lines and theme so much, here are some of my favourite quotes
"Those who run from death, stood still in life"
"Beauty fades, and that is why it is beautiful"

Lamb: "Never one... without the other"
Wolf: "Never one... without the other"

Lamb: "He took an axe, and split himself in two, right down the middle"
Wolf: "So he would always have a friend?"
Lamb: "So he would always have a friend"

Wolf: "Is this what it's like to end?"
Lamb: "I do not know, for this is not our end"
Wolf: "Do others come back?"
Lamb: "Those who do, wish they hadn't"

Kindred is one of my favorite characters lore-wise in League. One of their stories, "A Good Death" is easily one of my favorite stories, only second to "The Bird and the Branch," which was released for Taliyah. Everything about them, their music, dialogue, everything catches such a perfect, mystical, mythological vibe that personifies death in a way I've never seen before. And when you have to write a version of death in a world where gods walk the earth, and immortal beings exist in practicality, you really have to give off the feeling that Kindred is something that cannot be stopped, and that they are inevitable. Symbolism is a thing that is so closely tied to death, and the designers at Riot do it so well with Kindred.
