I love when Gabriela talked to Logan the first time and some reactors where like "he understands Spanish?" Yes bro! He indeed knows a lot of languages 😅 even aliens languages 😮

When you see people laughing as Logan, in a fit of desperation, starts bashing the pickup truck with a shovel, it becomes clear that they don't understand the character; they are the sort of people who couldn't care less about anything but pretend to feel empathy—it’s obvious within seconds.

The kid's reason to cross the border to Canada was legit, since Transigen doesn't have jurisdiction into Canada, making them safe. But people forget about "Team Alpha", the Canadian equivalent of X-Men from Canada. The sasquatch was waiting for the kids at the Canadian border, assuring their escape and making them way more safe then ever. The whole team Alpha knew about this escape and reacted accordingly to save the most childrien they could once they crossed the border.

Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart gave the performances of their Hollywood careers in Logan. I hate the fact that they werent nominated for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. The script totally deserved the nomination but so did our heroes. These performances like Heath Ledger as The Joker are high benchmarks in comic book movies.

The tragedy in when Laura calls Logan “Daddy” right before his death still sticks with me. This is the only time she herself references Logan as her father and it must have been something special being the last the last thing he hears from her or anyone else before he passed.

I am not a fan of the Fox era of xmen, but the 1 night at the Munson family farm gone wrong is my all time favorite sequence from this era.
Its the best depiction of Logans life of finding a glimpse of peace, only for his past life to come and burn it all down.

In hindsight, i do wish they gave one of the bad guys a moment of clarity. One of the minions couldve thrown down his weapon and threw up his hands, begging for mercy. The redeemable bad guy could say, "Please. I'm sorry. I'm tired of their s**t" or something. Logan could tell the guy to fck off and he runs off. Giving these human bad guys some humanity makes them bigger threats. They have the choice to walk away but they would rather do evil. It makes them feel more real and thats what theyre going for in Logan. It also shows that Logan is still a good and reasonable man.

The scene with Charles, Laura and a bowl of cereal is a direct reflection of...The Shining.
A bald black man, a little boy and a bowl of eaten ice cream.
"I can remember me and my grandmother having entire conversations without EVER opening our mouths!"
