Tobey may have been the one I grew up with, but Tom is the one I'm growing up alongside, and that really means something to me.

Seeing it all like this makes me want to see the MCU vision complete... I know I know, we all demanded Spider-man return to his pure roots. But the MCU set things up with a different narrative. The MCU began with Iron Man- a surprisingly excellent superhero film. The strategic deployment of superheroes and culmination in Infinity War/Endgame was sublime and a truly unique cinema experience. And the arc is that Spider-man was set up to inherit... and will need to grow, yes, but ultimately he needs to be at the head of the Avengers for the narrative to be complete.

My Spider-Man. I'm part of a younger generation, so I relate a lot to him.

Tom is the perfect spider man imo. He just looks like Peter Parker and he’s such a genuine dude in real life.

I grew up with Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies. Taking more of a look at the MCU Spider-Man’s Home Trilogy through this edit, I realize that Pete’s earlier gains of power really did come with a lot more responsibility. And my experience with the Brand New Day movie also threw me back to Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies freaking well, all while sparking a lot of my interest in MCU Peter Parker. Peter Parker’s life is never easy, but what ultimately makes him the beloved hero that he is isn’t his suffering, but how he bothers to overcome his suffering properly, so much that he inspires others to do the same with their own suffering. No matter how relatable he is, he inspires those who wish to be true heroes, which also means being our own selves. He may wish for a power fantasy life deep down, and he may wish he were someone else or even no one at all, but he would still dare to live a life healthier than that and do his part to make sure that even his worst villains would freely do the same whether they take his offers or not. He is a little creature that we the world would instinctively want to kill, but he would still choose to be a hero even and especially when we refuse to appreciate that. That is Spider-Man.

The part that gave me goosebumps was when the edit had Mysterio saying, "You are just a scared little kid." RIGHT as it shows him breaking down in his friends arms. UUUUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!! Gutting and beautiful!!!!
Honestly, I'm thankful for this vid because there was no mention of Tony in the new movie and he was so much of Peter's trauma. I know it was due to copyright stuff, but I still wanted to see them flashback to Tony's death too. That kid was his child!
That's why he told Cap, "I've got my second chance right here, and I can't roll the dice on it."
He clung to Morgan because he couldn't cling to Peter.
So thank you for bringing all that into this edit. There father son relationship was my favorite part of these movies.

This was a great video. Really shows how vulnerable and heroic he is after everything he's been through especially after watching Brand New Day aswell
