I ABSOLUTELY love it when movies and shows MEANT FOR CHILDREN have this kind of depth to their characters because it TIES TO ACTUAL HUMAN STRUGGLES AND EMOTIONS (ESPECIALLY when their given a role they DIDN'T ask for). Miles hits hard for me, to be honest. He was given a HUGE responsibility with EXTREMELY HIGH STANDARDS, his UNCLE was killed RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, he's STRUGGLING to fit in at highschool (which is a big part of his imposter syndrome enough) and the people who were supposed to HELP him tossed him aside, expecting him to figure things out BY HIMSELF. Tigress is also a big one. She tried SO HARD for YEARS to prove herself of a title she wasn't sure she needed HERSELF driven ONLY by self pressure, only for that title to be taken away LAST MINUTE by a panda helping his father run a noodle shop. She was influenced by the people around her to give herself the silhouette of a monster JUST because she was different. The ONLY THING that made a difference in the way they saw themselves was when the people they LEAST expected to notice gave them a shoulder to cry on.

Tigress is one of the Furious Five members who have a tragic childhood, Po is abandoned by his mom because Shen chased and killed her since his childhood😭
