An incredible and often overlooked chapter of history! The Siege of Belgrade in 1456 is a remarkable example of how determination, strategy, and courage could overcome overwhelming odds. The way Mehmed II’s forces were stopped after the conquest of Constantinople makes this battle truly fascinating. Great video!

Europe was so petty, it could not look at the larger picture to save Constantinople

In Belgrade in 1456, János Hunyadi took advantage of the chaotic charge of the militia, striking directly at the Ottoman artillery, forcing Mehmed II to be wounded and retreat.

What about the sultan who entered battlefield himself in close battle just to motivate his army and won the battle for the day, that battle didn't stopped ottoman sultan after that day, conquering bosnia, mora, trabzon and many other battles.

Only Serbians and Hungarians (Madjari) understand that they protected F europe so many times. But no Francks ,Germans or Brits give them a credit for it.
