  Their EQ (emotional intelligence) is really high. They’re constantly able to dissect these songs on a deeper level without even knowing English.

  This song always reminds me of the best night of my life. I am American and took a trip to Istanbul, Turkey. Amazing city. We had a night out and, long story short, I began talking to two guys in a bar. They were Syrian and had fled Damascus. They could speak English so we talked for hours. We shared a lot of common interests even though we couldn&apos;t be from more different places. We were walking the city streets at 3:00am and came across a group of young Arab guys sitting on the sidewalk. One guy was playing a guitar. My new friend asked if he could have the guitar. They let him play and he immediately started playing &quot;Nothing Else Matters&quot;. This new group of Arab kids we met did not speak any English but they knew every word to this song. We sat in a circle with our arms around each other singing, looking up to the night sky. It really made me feel a certain way. It was a powerful experience. I&apos;ll remember it forever. The feeling of family with total strangers, I mean I couldn&apos;t even communicate verbally with them other than with my new friend Majd. Sadly we got into a knife fight an hour later but we were not hurt. I&apos;m saying what&apos;s up to Majd and Jomard. My Syrian brothers for life. I really hope to get over there and see my friends again.

  I hope the guys from Metallica see this. I know they would be honored by these gentlemen&apos;s reactions. Music spans the oceans and the skies, there is no such thing as a language barrier with music.

  To this day, it&apos;s one of their slowest songs and still one of their most powerful. So widely loved by the fans. 32 years, and it makes the top of a lot of fans&apos; favorites lists. And to think, we almost never got it.

  My highest respect to Abdul Aziz Rind Baloch. You remain faithful to your spiritual beliefs and still understand and appreciate differences in others. More like the original Islamic faith. Please pardon me if you are of other religion than Islam. I just assumed. Regardless, you are a man who can bring people together in peace.

  I don&apos;t know if I&apos;ve ever heard Abdul give a more glowing opinion of a song before. Usually he&apos;s stoic and I can see in his eyes that he likes something, but this time he showed how much he liked it with his whole body. Also, it&apos;s amazing to see that music can make someone so emotional that they almost cry. You held it together well, Mashoque.

  No matter the culture, this song transcends all that and just connects with everyone who hears it.<br>Even Sir Elton John himself considers this song to be, in his own words, &quot;The greatest song ever written.&quot;<br>And when James Hetfield heard that, he was in tears. Good ones.

  I love this. To see them actually be open enough to enjoy Metallica, of all bands from America, this shows their true openness. It&apos;s funny how even our parents were afraid of this band back in the early 80s. Lol. I&apos;m not kidding that this channel completely buried some seriously wrong ideas in my heart. Bias. Prejudice. If there&apos;s one good thing social media did for me, it was to erase a lot of ignorance from my heart and world. So grateful that I don&apos;t carry that anymore. Thank you to the channel and everyone involved. God bless you all.
