What I love about film is it forces you to really think before shooting. It makes it way more interesting and exciting

Had a Bolex H16 Rex back in my Navy days. Shot B&W nature stuff. Camera was stolen. Never replaced it.

This video should have been shot on film. I am guilty of liking old cars with all their massively inferior mechanical issues, but man, they look cool.

Say what you want about digital, but the fact that anyone can just pull out their phone and make a whole movie is amazing

Hey Remsy, that's the cam we used at CalArts--brand new--right out of the box from France in the seventies, 16mm. 😎😎

I found your video very interesting and I was wandering about the background music, I’ll be thanking for your answer

Hi. I was a film camera assistant for 34 years. I was qualified on over 50 film cameras and ran about 3 million feet of film through those cameras.
Everything you said, except maybe the weight of the NPR, a camera I owned for a while, was spot on. The worst part of the Internet is the spread of misinformation. You, on the other hand, contributed good information.
Good luck and don't daylight your film. :-)

I thought for a second that this was a bigger youtube channel, great content! Also subscribed!
I would love to be able to shoot on film but sadly if it is expensive in the us, here in south america would be very difficult, and the processing would have to be made in a lab in the US, but someday, someday…😅
