There are also over 1500 other species with documented gay couples, and the real number is likely much higher, it’s just really weird to write a thesis on two dudes bangin, so we’ve only confirmed a little over 1500 species

They are severly altered proteobacteria our early eukaryote ancestor lopped up and kept as endosymbiontes in our cells, and they reproduce in tandem with mitosis. <br><br>Also you inherit all your mitochondria from your mother. The sperm cell does contain mitochondria to power its movement, but they are packed at the base of the flagellum, which is severed upon fusion with the egg cell. <br>So your mitochondria couldn&apos;t even be male by proxy.
