  What a surreal experience watching this, I actually grew up and still live in the valley just below the Seealpsee, so seeing my home through your eyes was genuinely beautiful, thank you!<br>Just a little local perspective worth sharing: Appenzell was a quiet hidden gem even within Switzerland until about 10 years ago. The Instagram era changed that fast, traffic, no parking, litter, and a tourism economy that often doesn&apos;t benefit the region as much as you&apos;d expect since prices drive many visitors away from spending locally. What&apos;s perhaps hardest to watch is how the Seealpsee is sometimes treated like a beach resort rather than a mountain lake, a refreshing stop for hikers, not a summer party destination.<br>Most of us locals now avoid the trails during the day and head out on weekday evenings or stick to the harder, less-traveled routes, just to still have that peaceful version of home we grew up with.<br>No criticism toward you two at all, your love for the landscape really comes through. Keep making beautiful content! 🏔

  10 Swiss francs for 6 hours of parking is not expensive. That would be at least £20 in the UK. Plus, you get a refund if you don&apos;t park for the full 6 hours. You only pary for what you use. You can also buy a Half Swiss Fare Card that will reduce your fares for trains, boats, cable cars, funiculars, etc.

  I am constantly amazed that tourists explore Switzerland by rental car and then complain about the high cost of public transport.<br>Switzerland has an excellent public transport system.<br>There are various discounts available for tourists that apply to trains, buses, mountain railways, boats, and museums.<br>Bratwurst is a Swiss specialty. Of course, delicious bratwursts made to local recipes can also be found in Germany, Austria, and many other countries.<br>Hiking in the mountains wearing sneakers is not very smart! It causes many accidents in the mountains. Sneakers simply do not provide enough foot support. Yellow signposts can be found almost everywhere, showing hikers the right direction and the approximate time needed for the route. Whenever a signpost features a white-red-white marking, it indicates an unpaved mountain trail that requires proper equipment.<br>It&apos;s nice that you enjoyed Switzerland.
