That was an unexpected benefit of cruising to and from NZ - a few days of chill cruising to de-stress from the running around during the port days - certainly beats the hectic rush to the airport! Sad to see we’re nearing the end of this series, but been very enjoyable!

Carnival still does the Baked Alaska parade (on the Luminosa anyway), on the last night they parade the burning baked Alaska through the main dining room.

We were in the lift with Dominic on our first day and he was really friendly. The rest of my family didn’t recognise him but we’d spent 30 minutes in the theatre waiting for muster check in and there was a video of him on repeat 😂

Love love love your clear informative vlogs Ali & Rob👏👌can u tell me how you know what is going on in different parts of the ship ... is it the app? Cruising Feb 2027 to New Zealand & needing to know if it is considerably cheaper to initiate & book things yourself rather than on board? Thank you for all your tips they are valuable to rookie cruisers like my hubby & I & at 67 we are not as up to date with all the modern way of doing things, we still appreciate the paper & highlighter approach 😅
