Gold Prospecting the Yuba River Panning and Detecting

On this trip out to the Mother lode we are looking for Gold with both Gold Pans and Metal Detectors. Gary‪@TwoToes‬ and me head up Highway 49 to Downieville and the North Yuba to do a little Prospecting but first we meet up with Pat Keene‪@KeeneEngInc‬ It's a race to see who gets first Gold is it going to be me or Gary ??? When your out in the woods its always a good idea to keep an eye out for wild animals as we come across a few friendly ones and even a few not so friendly ones !!! We had a great time prospecting for Gold found a few nice pieces and got to see a Bear up close !!! I was using the Minelab Gold Monster 2000 and when Gary started detecting he was using the Minelab SDC 2300. Some days it's not about how much Gold you find it's about the Adventure and good Friends !!!! In 1848 James Marshall found Gold in Coloma, California his Discovery set off the largest Gold Rush in History.The California Gold Rush !!
