  Hi Lisa!  I lLOVE this idea and the patterns you chose are spot on!  I am also a fan of Murder She Wrote and am happy when I catch it on tv.  She had great style for sure, and I never thought about it until you mentioned it - but yes, I agree that many of her outfits were perfect for fall!  Looking forward to seeing your makes from this pattern collection 🙂

  Can’t wait to see the garments you make with your Jessica Fletcher fall wardrobe. On your S8026 pattern you mentioned needing to grade it…Madswick has the Raida blouse pattern that has a very similar vibe if you decide you didn’t want to grade the pattern. 😊 Happy sewing! 🧵

  Oh my, yes, yes, yes! I’m here for it. Right along with you! However did you know? I have a Pinterest board titled, “I Want to Look Like Jessica”! 😮. I thought I was the only person out here that would copy JD. I missed the original series, I’m a nurse and worked nights. I’m retired now and have been watching her for the past 6 months or so, catching up. I love her style. I think you nailed it with your patterns. I would add to everything you mentioned that being in New England, she had a preppy, coastal vibe at times as well. One thing that I’m planning on sewing this fall, besides some flannel button up’s, is a dark denim pop-over with a collar that is coastal looking to me. She wore it several episodes and in publicity photos. It’s like the Friday Pattern Company Donny Shirt, but I think that needs a drapier fabric than denim so I’m still looking. I’ll be watching to see what you make!
