Accurate or not, I enjoyed the acting of the guy portraying Mosley so much, that I felt disappointed not having a closure for his story arc in PB and The Immortal Man.
He was one of the best antagonists of the show.
Maybe Mosley's arrest in 1940 affected his story arc in the show.

I think the presentation was good, but he didn’t have the same passion as the real Mosley

Sam Claflin as Oswald Mosley was hands down the best villain performance in Peaky Blinders. Also, to give the show credit regarding real life Mosley's politics, there is the scene in Tommy's office where Mosley states, "you must ride the new wave as it comes." With the first successful socialist revolution in the USSR and its growing popularity among the working classes of Europe, a populist alternative that was capable of capturing the masses while still maintaining the fundamental tenets of capitalism and its ruling class was necessary. That is precisely what fascism is. In the show, Oswald's wife even says this: "we are the bulwark against them [the socialists]."
