What a pity! And it’s so hard to imagine that this incredibly lively, intense, creative, communicative, loving, animating and inspiring person is no longer with us...
I don’t know of any other musician who connects with the audience and other musicians like him.

Glen Hansard. Heartfelt sadness finds us hearing the sad news of Glen’s passing away. I know this sounds so bleak, but we named our best guitar (Tak N-15) after you and we think of you often. You’ve touched us more than you’ll ever know. Gord and Lisa from Edmonton, Canada (Alberta). Damn.

Profound sympathy to Glen’s family and friends.

The one happy thought is he did start his love of music started at 13 ! Had 43 years doing what he dearly loved....and entertaining all of us..I think God wanted to have him in heaven to entertain there now...Amen😢😢

Why has it taken me so long to stumble on this wonderful singer and his fellow musicians! Better late than never. Your music is needed in this time of trouble. This music heals your soul.
