Okay, now I think we have to request John of Gaunt. Definitely think MB had a strong resemblance to him.

It's crazy to think that her and her son are only 12 yrs apart . They make her so old looking in tv shows. He was 28 when he took throne, so she was only 40 maybe 41

Woah, one can definitely see the resemblance to her son, especially the eyes

YOUR VERSION of this unbelievably courageous woman here should be in The National Gallery. Love the soaring music! the sun on her, the backlit wall and her modern yet ancient attire - and HER SMILE OF CONTENTMENT.
SO well done, ROYALTY NOW.
Ya did good, Margaret Tudor - ya did good.

I had no idea that she and the "white queen" were actually allies. That makes me happy to think of those two women supporting, plotting history changing strategy together.

I think she would have been pleased if she could see the portrait smiling at the end

I just recently read Dan Jones’ history of the War of the Roses, and Margaret was a prominent part of it. She was such an amazing person. Thank you for doing this history and reconstruction of her.
