  When Edd parted ways with Wheeler Dealers (WD&apos;s) he said in a YT video on his own channel that his leaving was because the revamped version of WD&apos;s wasn&apos;t going in a direction he felt comfy with but wished the show, Mike and the mechanic replacing him all the best, a gentleman at his best. Edd also said he hoped to do a show that was more about the mechanics and less about the (money/politics/commercial) business aspects of mechanics. Edd, you and your production team have in episode one delivered completely, delivering what many of us had hoped we would see with you as the host. In this episode we saw what could be done in a less than equipped work shop, &nbsp;you got to show us many hints and tips, the trouble you went to ensuring the vehicle was legal in the owners country, it was a delight to see you helping others out with your skills when matters in their own life&apos;s have taken more time than they could dedicate to their projects. Well done everyone... I&apos;m thrilled to see that what you wanted has made it into production, and good luck to all with the future episodes.

  It&apos;s a real shame this never got picked up, i wish Edd had got a car show on tv by now, i really miss his style of work.

  I&apos;m a near 70 year old woman and I loved wheeler dealers for the way Edd tinkered with the cars etc. Glad to see he stuck to his principles and now has a new show without the annoying cheeky chappy nonsense

  American TV executives take note. This is why we used to love Wheeler Dealers. It&apos;s not &quot;too hard to film&quot; or &quot;not engaging enough&quot;, some of us find the intricacies of installing a complicated headlining interesting. Edd, you know your fanbase and keep up the excellent work.

  This is just what I needed... It&apos;s like wheeler dealers with out all the bullshit. Just Edd sorting a car out with some traveling. brilliant program. Really hope it takes off. You deserve it Edd!

  how does it feel to almost be at 100k subs on just a pilot episode and teaser video? &nbsp;Edd i would be extremely proud of what you done so far sir. &nbsp;As a bonus I think were all so glad to have you back on the digital air waves.

  Jan 2024 just found this, Ed finally doing what he does best, nice to see other &nbsp;private workshops and Ed helping ordinary folk.. Happy new year everybody.
