That whole movie is carried by Jennifer Beals. She is GLOWING. If she had not gone back to college, she surely could have become a big movie star. She is incredible charming in this movie.

This movie was part of the push towards athletic physicality in the 80’s and how cool and essential that was and was really impactful to me. I was 16 and it put me in a daze. Also Jennifer is so luminous, man those eyes. She made the movie.
